ABOUT LUNA

From the age of ten, Luna was hard at work—directing her eight younger siblings in homemade plays and films, organizing a cancer-fundraising group with her cousins, and mastering the use of power tools. While she may not have dreamed of seeing her name in lights, her family always believed she had the potential for greatness.

In high school, Luna held numerous leadership roles, paving the way for her ambitious pursuits. Upon graduation, she earned the Faculty Key Award, High Honors, and a Certificate of Achievement in Film. Her Capstone project, a 30-minute video about the school, was a standout accomplishment, created with the help of a 20-student volunteer crew under her supervision.

In 2018, Luna began her journey at Ithaca College on a scholarship. She graduated in 2022 with a BFA in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts, a minor in Marketing, and the honor of Magna Cum Laude.

Shortly after, Luna packed into a Subaru Outback brimming with creative tools and aspirations and set out for New Mexico.

New Mexico offered unique opportunities in the film industry, allowing Luna to gain experience in various facets of filmmaking while making significant connections and putting in numerous hours on set.

In 2024, Luna packed up once again and moved to Frederick, MD, where she continues to work today.

While photography is her specialty, Luna thrives in a variety of creative mediums, including painting, jewelry making, woodworking, screenwriting, graphic design, acting, singing, and video and photo editing. Quick to learn and eager to experiment, she’s always expanding her skill set.

Known by her peers for her trusty big red toolbox and grip kit, Luna’s greatest strengths lie in her adaptability and problem-solving abilities. Past experiences have taught her to approach challenges with creative, often unconventional solutions—always thinking outside “the box.”
